The Westmere Miniature Rifle Club was formed in 1936 to foster the sport of target shooting.

In 2025 we are still a warm, welcoming place for anyone who wishes to learn about the sport of target shooting.

Target shooting as a sport is not a main stream sport, and attracts a different sort of sportsperson.  It doesn’t require strength or speed, agility or quickness.  It requires concentration, stillness, and self-correction.  We cater to those for whom main stream sport doesn’t always fit.

We have a fully licenced, certified range, and safety is our first consideration.  If you wish to find out more, please contact Sid or John.
